4A Biliary Stents - Standard

SKU: 4A-GE-0002

Standard Biliary Stents are radiopaque polymer drainage tubes engineered to restore and maintain bile flow in patients with biliary tract obstructions. Used during Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), these stents palliate malignant biliary strictures, relieve benign strictures, and manage post-operative bile leaks. Constructed from flexible medical-grade polyethylene or polyurethane, they feature retention flaps and side drainage holes to ensure stable position retention and uninterrupted biliary clearance.

Key Benefits

  • Effective Biliary Drainage: Multi-hole drainage design maintains consistent bile flow through malignant and benign strictures.
  • Anti-Migration Flaps: Integrated retention flaps minimize unwanted distal or proximal stent displacement within the bile duct.
  • High Radio-Opacity: Fully radiopaque polymer allows accurate placement and monitoring under real-time fluoroscopy.
  • Biocompatible Material: Smooth, flexible construction resists encrustation and conforms to natural duct curvature.
  • Universal Endoscopic Delivery: Compatible with standard 0.035" guide wires and standard ERCP pushing catheters.
